 The
Seattle
Cossacks
Performance
Wherever
the
Seattle
Cossacks
ride,
people
watch
and
wonder
in
fascination,
waiting
for
the
next
man
to
climb
higher.
No
ropes,
no
props,
no
skyhooks,
no
gimmicks-they
just
climb.
How
can
they
do
that
on
motorcycles?
The
crowd
bursts
into
cheers
and
applause
as
the
team
glides
past.
The
stunts,
motorcycles
(and
the
applause)
have
been
going
on
for
over
60
years.

to
the
total
delight,

and
amazement
of
the
crowd.
These

a

Self
Guided
Tours
Do
you
need
a
break
from
the
stresses
of
the
daily
hustle
and
bustle?
Are
crowded
streets,
smog,
and
traffic
wearing
you
down?
Well
we
have
the
answer
in
the
Pacific
Northwest.
You
just
"gotta"
do
at
least
one
of
these
tours.
Come
early
or
stay
later
to
do
more
and
give
yourself
a
real
vacation.
Let
us
introduce
you
in
2003
to
all
the
spectacular
things
that
the
Pacific
Northwest
has
to
offer.
The
unexcelled
beauty
and
amazing
variety
of
landscapes
that
are
found
in
the
northwest
are
sure
to
please
all
that
come.
But,
what
you
might
be
most
exhilarated
with
is
our
ROADS.
The
2003
MGNOC
National
Moto
Guzzi
Rally
is
being
planned
not
just
to
appeal
to
those
members
that
love
to
ride
and
talk
about
Moto
Guzzi
for
hours
and
hours
on
end,
but
to
their
families
as
well.
The
Ocean
and
Islands
are
just
west
of
the
rally
site,
to
the
east
is
Mount
Baker,
S.E.
is
Mt.
Rainier,
and
Mount
Saint
Helen's
all
within
easy
riding
distance,
or
the
Seattle
scene,
or
perhaps
stepping
into
Canada
is
what
thrills
you.
So
many
adventures,
so
little
time.
Use
it
well,
and
keep
your
smile
on. |

The
Island
Tour
–
You
may
like
to
tour
Whidbey
Island,
the
second-largest
island
in
the
continental
United
States.
You
can
ride
your
Moto
Guzzi
to
the
breathtaking
Deception
Pass
just
20
minutes
from
the
Rally
and
cross
over
to
the
North
end
of
Whidbey
Island.
Be
sure
to
bring
your
camera.
You
will
need
it!
Heading
South
down
the
Island
you
may
like
to
stop
at
the
quaint
waterfront
towns
of
Langley
and
Coupeville,
or
make
a
stop
at
the
Greenbank
Farm
winery.
See
Fort
Casey,
constructed
to
protect
Puget
Sound
in
the
late
1800's,
explore
the
fortifications,
enjoy
the
views
of
the
sound,
eat
a
box
lunch,
perhaps
fly
a
kite.
At
the
North
end
of
the
Island
you
can
turn
around
and
ride
back
or
hop
on
a
half-hour
Washington
State
Ferry
in
Clinton
-
crossing
the
Puget
Sound
Seaway
to
Mukilteo.
There
you
can
reach
I5
to
drive
back
North
to
Mt
Vernon.
This
would
likely
be
a
full
day
adventure,
at
least
8
hours. |

The
Skagit
Valley
Coastal
Tour
–
A
shorter,
easier
day
of
touring.
Travel
back
roads
through
the
farming
countryside
of
Skagit
Valley
to
the
picturesque
town
of
LaConner.
LaConner's
small
turn-of-the-century
downtown
is
perched
on
the
waterfront
and
features
numerous
"on
your
own"
lunch
spots,
interesting
antique
and
crafts
shops
and
three
museums
(Skagit
County
Historical
Museum,
LaConner
Quilt
Museum,
and
Museum
of
Northwest
Art)
which
will
be
available
as
optional
attractions.
From
LaConner
travel
(by
bridge)
to
Fidalgo
Island
and
the
town
of
Anacortes.
Use
Hwy
20
from
Anacortes
to
return
to
Mt
Vernon.
Allow
at
least
4
hours. |

Downtown
LaConner |
-
Anacortes
is
home
to
the
world's
largest
fleet
of
charter
pleasure
boats
and
is
the
"jumping
off
point"
for
the
San
Juan
Islands.
A
trip
to
the
San
Juan
Islands
would
also
be
gorgeous,
but
requires
most
of
a
day.
However,
you
could
be
an
early
bird,
catch
the
1st
ferry
to
famous
and
beautiful
Friday
Harbor
for
an
Island
Breakfast;
circle
the
island
(1
hr.),
and
be
back
at
the
rally
site
by
about
2PM
!

Chuckanut
Drive
Tour
From
the
Rally
to
Bellingham
at
the
end
of
Chuckanut
Drive
will
take
approximately
2
hours
and
depends
on
stopover
times.
(Do
this
Ride
!)
Directions:
From
the
National
Moto
Guzzi
Rally,
go
North
on
I5.
The
exit
is
just
north
of
Burlington
and
marked
as
exit
#231.
Chuckanut
Drive
takes
you
through
gorgeous
farmlands,
in
and
out
of
the
towns
of
Allen
&
Bow,
with
some
of
the
area's
best
Restaurants,
Bed
&
Breakfasts
and
Antique
&
Art
Galleries.
Drive
ends
in
the
city
of
Bellingham.
You
can
return
via
I5
or
back
the
way
you
came.
|
How
could
you
go
wrong
with
a
name
like
Chuckanut
Drive...just
north
west
of
Mt
Vernon
and
south
of
Bellingham,
lies
a
pretty
stretch
of
road
that
winds
along
the
ocean.
Pretty
vistas,
sharp
corners,
and
narrow
stretches
make
this
the
perfect
stretch
to
be
driving
one
of
those
old
Moto
Guzzi
Motorcycles
for
the
nostalgia,
or
the
sleek
new
ones
to
soak
up
the
curves!
End
by
exploring
the
old
historical
district
of
Fairhaven
in
Bellingham.
Lots
of
quaint
shops
in
Fairhaven,
and
our
favorite
place
to
stop
for
lunch
is
the
Colophon
Cafe/Village
book
store,
or
Dos
Padres
Mexican
restaurant
for
dinner.
A
great
spring,
summer,
or
fall
drive.
