Bob and Marian are true icons in the history of Moto Guzzi here in here in Washington as well as around the world.  Bob is revered as true Moto Guzzi Guru, whose aspirations would not be possible without the support from Marian.  

For years Marian has maintained her own parallel Moto Guzzi agenda and is an unwavering spirit of strength to all the Guzzi folks lucky enough to experience her association.  

I met Bob in '79 looking for help and parts for my ailing Ambassador.  If it's one thing these folks do, it is helping to bring out the best in others.  Their spirit is contagious and you find yourself passing on that helpful and positive attitude to others.   There are folks who truly stand apart from the crowd, who seem to guide and help others in motorcycling and life.  Many thanks to Bob & Marian from me, and from all those whose lives have been touched by the Nolans.

You may have seen, or heard about Bob's incredible Moto Guzzi powered little car which he built up from scratch! This Trike is truly a wonderful example of creative engineering, features include full communications, CB, Stereo, wipers, adjustable air shocks, trailer capable, running a Moto Guzzi V-Twin 1000cc engine, trans. Marian took her motorcycle test in the little car, and the last time she gave me a ride.  The term "flying low", took on a whole new meaning. Bob really out did himself with this project, it even bested his custom re-engineering of a Conestoga style cycle camping trailer. Bob made this Goose to ride two up pulling a cycle trailer so he just tweaked the power plant a little,   Man, this squid hauls!
